The Sorority further provides motivation to youth, especially in the inner city, by conducting TUTORIAL programs designed to assist the educational system in remediation these youths’ academic weaknesses, taping their strengths and unshackling their potentials toward the attainment of “Excellence without Compromise.”  We also provide  CAREER EXPLORATION activities to broaden youth’s awareness of the ever challenging and widening horizons of the world of work.

Future Iota Leaders (FIL) which embraces youth (male and females) from ages 10-20 and trains them to become business leaders. Youth who desire to become a part of FIL must complete an application.  Once approved, they participate in civic, educational and business programs.  Friendship, Integrity and humanity are character traits desired for FILs.  They may enter oratorical and business competitions at local facilities as well as participation in regional conferences and national conventions.

TOYS “U” CAN’T RETURN is a project to help local communities learn more about teenage pregnancy and develop effective action agendas for assisting/preventing children from having  children.

IOTA MOTHERS CAREER ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (IM-CAP) is an outreach service to meet the needs of teens and disadvantaged mothers (ages 11-19) and (20-40).  It includes tutoring, networking, interviewing, shadowing, monitoring, training programs, resources and referring for health, employment, scholarships, family life, financial assistance, GED, college, technical school and internships.

AFRICARE is a women’s empowerment program for South Africa by the Sorority to provide global leadership and assistance to raise the economic and social status of black women living there.
