The Woman with many hats.

Soror Billie O. Glover-Morris
is a native of Iowa and attended the public schools of Iowa and Wisconsin. She received her undergraduate Degree from Tuskegee Institute. She continued her studies as the University of Wisconsin, Vassar College, and Auburn University.

Soror Morris enjoys reading, TV viewing and puzzles. She is also volunteers as Ambassador to Tuskegee Area Chamber of Commerce, cutting ribbons for opening businesses, hosting Business After Hours affairs for the business community.

She is a dedicated member of Greenwood Missionary Baptist Church in Tuskegee.

She was initiated in Lambda chapter of Iota Phi Lambda Sorority a few months before she was married. Chapter services included stints as Secretary, Journalist, and after a few years of attentive service - President, over and over again!

Soror Morris says "Regional meetings are my favorite away-from-home places. I did so enjoy meeting Sorors from surrounding areas in the South. Four or five of us would load up into cars (there weren't too many cars then) and ride to the various sites of the meetings. We roomed in sorors' homes, met in churches or "halls", and we had a ball!"

Her first National was the 25th Anniversary Convention in Chicago - and she became immediately addicted.

"I always did - and still do - read everything that crosses my desk, so I gathered a bit of knowledge about the inner workings of Iota. I also like to figure out an easier and better way to everything I see being done. So I began to offer a few ideas and suggestions, and soon the "offerer" of the suggestions was appointed to put it into effect. That's how I came to serve as Regional Secretary and as Regional Journalist - me and my big mouth. But I loved every minute of it."

Amazingly, Soror Billie O. Glover-Morris continues to give IOTA her time and talents even today. The Southern Region salutes you!
