Greetings Sorors,

It is with great pride and pleasure that I greet you in the name of this great Sisterhood!  As I take this moment to express my gratitude to the Southern Region, and to all of my sisters of Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, much satisfaction is taken in knowing that we stand as a collective group, bold, determined and beautiful!  We are making positive changes within our communities and in the lives of many who observe Iota’s work.  Much has been accomplished during the past years. We are making a difference!  I commend each and every member of the Southern Region for their persistence and perseverance. Sorors, I applaud you for your dedication, devotion and commitment to make the best Sorority even better! 

The dynamic Southern Region will continue to work and promote the business aspect of Iota.  Recapturing the visions of our Founders remains the key focus within our existence. 

Accolades are extended to Assistant Regional Director, Patricia Griffin, Regional Secretary, Kemberli Stephenson, Regional Treasurer, Bessie Jowers and Regional Journalist, Didi Boynton for their untiring devotion to Iota Phi Lambda and the Southern Region.  Special thanks to Soror Ivis Richardson for services rendered during her two-year tenure.  Her dedicated spirit will be missed.

Thanks to all who attended the 73rd Southern Regional Conference. The region was at its “best!”  We were well represented. This could not have happened if it wasn’t for the magnificent teamwork displayed by all.  We must not quit now, we have much work to do in order to maintain our status.  We are proud of all of you!  Let us remain strong, dedication and most of all let our “Sisterly Love” shine as we work together in unity and love! Remember, “Together we stand, divided we fall.”  Let’s stand together and make this Sorority the best of all!
